BT-Wolfgang Binder GmbH conducts intensive research in collaboration with BT-Anlagenbau GmbH & Co KG in the field of opto-electronic sorting of waste paper. The first very positive results from practice have been reached with the development of our REDWAVE which separates cardboard from paper.

 

Depending on the plant requirements our REDWAVE is delivered single or double-stage. The image processing unit recognizes the material surface and enables therefore a separation by colour. The near infrared module provides for a detection of the material structure and sorts according to material composition. By using near infrared spectroscopy it is avoided that coloured cardboard can reach the fraction of de-inking paper.
